ApplianSys is pleased to announce that the Elite International Academy in Istanbul has upgraded its CACHEBOX deployment to support more classrooms and a growing online curriculum with cost-effective, congestion-free e-learning.

With ambitions to achieve the highest learning standards in Turkey, the new Academy opened its doors in 2018 having already implemented a fibre network and online learning repository. But just months after its inauguration, internet traffic was already outstripping capacity – leaving students frustrated by lengthy delays.

Information Technology Coordinator Ahmed Desouki chose the most cost-effective route to ensure congestion-free access. With a CACHEBOX050 serving in-demand content locally, the browsing experience was dramatically improved. By effectively tripling available capacity, CACHEBOX was able to meet peak demand throughout the school day, enabling teachers to maximise internet use in the classroom.

Fast forward a couple of years and the Academy’s success has led student enrolment to more than double in size. Traffic growth has been significant, but CACHEBOX has been on-hand to boost capacity when needed.
