Renewed success in Malaysia
ApplianSys is pleased to announce that the Office of the Prime Minister of Malaysia has extended its use of DNSBOX, continuing a long history of success in Malaysia’s government sector.
The Prime Minister’s Office (JPM-ICU) first chose a comprehensive, fully scalable DNSBOX system back in 2015 to replace its former Microsoft DDI solution and meet its internal IPAM, DNS, and DHCP requirements.
In choosing to take advantage of ApplianSys’ attractive hardware refresh option, JPM-ICU continues ApplianSys’ relationship with a prestigious list of customers across federal departments and national projects.
Since the first CACHEBOX sale 11 years ago, ministries, government agencies, and national project managers have regularly chosen ApplianSys appliance-based solutions to meet the national requirement for best fit at best value.
Long-standing local partners Techlab Security have worked closely with ApplianSys’ Kuala Lumpur support team to ensure that DNSBOX customers benefit from the smooth deployment and high-performance DDI solution they need – which includes upgrading their appliances and expanding the scope of their current system through a simple and inexpensive Hardware Refresh.
“Our Hardware Refresh feature is extremely popular with customers,” says Business Development Director Dave Gravell. “With most equipment, they are used to having to purchase a full-cost new product at the end of their standard replacement cycles. The ApplianSys approach is that their original appliance purchase bought them a perpetual software use licence. So we only charge for replacement hardware, at a discounted price. Our customers get long term continuity of service at low cost, with hardware upgraded to the latest specification (typically meaning higher performance). It’s just one of the ways ApplianSys has always offered great value”.
About hardware refresh
ApplianSys’ unique hardware refresh program allows customers to replace their existing hardware with the newest generation of hardware, at a fraction of the price of the original fully licensed appliance. This allows customers to upgrade to the latest hardware specification and enjoy ongoing full hardware and software support on equipment for as long as they want to use it – some ApplianSys customers are into their 4th hardware refresh cycle having gone beyond 15 years as a user.
TechLab Security was formed to meet the growing needs for Information Security and Internet Gateway Solutions in Malaysia. Since 2005 it has passionately delivered innovative IT solutions that satisfy customer needs.
