ApplianSys today announced that HELP University College (HUC) in Malaysia has selected CACHEBOX to improve internet access for students at its Halls of Residence. The high performance CACHEBOX230 is being deployed to lighten the load on HUC’s bonded ADSL links.

“Distance learning, academic research and communication with peers across the globe make the internet a critical resource for students,” says Vedrana Jovanovic, CACHEBOX APAC Channel Manager. “As a private university ‘customer satisfaction’ is linked directly to HUCs international reputation. By caching regularly downloaded content locally CACHEBOX will free up bandwidth and ensure students remain delighted with the ICT facilities HUC provides.”

The solution is supported by MSP Systems, ApplianSys partner in Malaysia.
