Digital adds up savings

ApplianSys is pleased to announce that Digital Solutions Provider (DSP), Saudi Arabia, has selected a CACHEBOX solution to optimise bandwidth usage and support its growing customer base.

DSP provides a range of managed, hosting and other IT services to dozens of large commercial clients, each with hundreds of users. As a result, its 1Gbps bandwidth connection supports thousands of online users.

But with plans to rapidly expand its customer base next year, Network Manager Ali Al-Mansour knew that bandwidth was a problem. Their existing connection would struggle to support so many new users, especially during popular or peak usage times.

Simply buying more bandwidth would provide additional capacity throughout the day, but outside peak times that extra capacity would essentially be wasted – delivering a very low return on investment (ROI).
