PIXNET goes faster with CACHEBOX

ApplianSys today announced that PIXNET, a leading Taiwanese social network has selected CACHEBOX to deliver a fast, uninterrupted service to users.

Rapid growth in popularity had put a lot of pressure on the PIXNET network which their existing deployment of Squid caching servers was struggling to reduce.

Now, one CACHEBOX230 working alongside the squid servers will service all requests for image and video content. Early trials conducted by ApplianSys partner Alopex, demonstrated the single CACHEBOX230 supporting up to 250Mbps of PIXNETs traffic and making a real impact on the reducing the load on its content servers.
