ApplianSys today announced that Precor, a manufacturer of high-end fitness equipment has selected CACHEBOX to improve content delivery to gym users.

Precor equipment enhances the fitness experience by providing multimedia content to users whilst they train. CACHEBOX will reduce bandwidth use and costs by downloading content once and then serving it to other users requesting the same content.

“A shortage of available bandwidth can ruin what might have been an amazing experience for end users,” says Steven Tee, CACHEBOX Product Manager. “But before splashing out on upgrading expensive links, it’s important to make better use of what you already have. CACHEBOX makes your users happier and saves you money.”

Founded in the Seattle, WA, area in 1980, Precor (www.precor.com) equipment sets the global standard for a fluid, natural, low-impact workout experience. Precor is a subsidiary of Amer Sports Corp. the world’s largest sports equipment company, with internationally recognized brands Wilson, Atomic, Suunto, Precor, Salomon and Mavic.
