Brazil nuts for CACHEBOX
ApplianSys is delighted to announce that Computech, a new partner in Brazil, has purchased 23 CACHEBOXes to cater to wide-scale caching requirements throughout the Brazilian market.
The demand for high-speed internet in Brazil is high, especially in rural regions where bandwidth is both limited and expensive. Computech sells Wi-Fi & telecommunications equipment to ISPs across Brazil. One of the main issues it faced was that ISPs were unable to fully benefit from its Wi-Fi solutions without putting excess strain on their existing internet connections. To overcome this Computech needed a simple caching solution that would both complement its existing Wi-Fi product range and confront the regional bandwidth issue.
With customers’ interests in mind, CEO of Computech Luciano Franz searched online for suitable caching solutions and found CACHEBOX to be the best fit.
“Local vendors offer solutions that are costly to upgrade and lack customer orientated support. On the other hand, the CACHEBOX range is a great investment as it directly confronts these issues. The product is scalable and offers deployment flexibility. This teamed with ApplianSys’ customer centric approach to support is exactly what we were looking for.” says Luciano.
CACHEBOX’s suitability for the Brazilian market was further reinforced when Computech launched the range at the ‘EXPOSEC’ technology exhibition in São Paulo. A demonstration of CACHEBOX’s easy to use interface and caching performance generated a great deal of interest from Brazilian ISPs.
CACHEBOX Sales Executive Francesc Amador comments: “We are very happy to be working alongside Computech. It is clear that CACHEBOX’s ability to save bandwidth and improve web access meets compelling needs in Brazil. We look forward to collaborating with Computech in the coming months to further our presence in the Brazilian market.”
